Derbyshire County Cricket Club invested £1,000,000 to create a new and exclusive venue for members on matchdays and a state-of-the-art Conference and Events venue on non-matchdays. The players and coaching staff were relocated within the Cricket Derbyshire Elite Performance Centre, previously known as the Gateway Centre, with new international standard dressing and training facilities. This was a tight programme that had to be upheld in order to ensure availability at the start of the season.
